Jure Jakob

Jure Jakob was born in 1977 in Celje, Slovenija. He has a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Arst, University of Ljubljana. He is the autor of six poetry books, the monographic study about narrative works of Lojze Kovačič, a book of prose and essays and four poetry picture books for Children. His work has received many awards, including the Prešeren Fund Award for achievements in literature (2018). He lives and works in Savlje near Ljubljana.
